Altered Match Box

This is the start of my little altered match box.I used to smoke clove cigaretts.And the foil paper inside the pack is what I have saved.Here is the reason why...you can emboss it.It is very thin and to keep it from scratching after I have embossed it,I usually spray it with a few good coats of clear spray enamel paint.Valspar or krylon.

West Sandy Bay...Tennessee

We had a good 5 inches of snow the other day.Not normal for here.We might get a dusting of snow a couple of times a year.And that is usually melted by the end of the day.This view is just around the corner from our house.It takes me about two minutes to walk to the dock.I love fishing from there.I used to go swimming but I'm afraid to now.The lake is filled with cotton mouth snakes and big snappers.

New years eve I lost my oldest brother Mike.What can I say other than I loved him very much and still do.I cry as that is part of greaving my loss.He was such a good man...if only there were one out there for me like that.

Finally the fire place is painted.Here is the befor and after.My hands are very sore,I'm not as young as I used to be...52 and feeling like 78.

Haunted House Swap

I had fun making this little house.It really is little,the back round it is on is 6x6
I have two more houses to have fun putting together,but I don't think I will have the time right now.I wanted to send em up to my nieces and nephews.

Our new BLUE roof

Here is the new blue metal roof we had put on last weekend.I picked the color blue because I thought it would look nice against the blue sky.And besides on our road we have at least ten other neighbors with metal roofs green and red.The bad part about all this was we had to remove the dish DSL and went "with out" internet from Saturday till today.And my Husband and I will be starting to put up a ceiling in the den and bed room.See the new roof was because we sprang a leak.Me and Steve will be putting up the ceiling our selves,LIFE gets in the way!

Here is the scare crow...parts.I took pictures to add here because I thought some one might like to use it for them selfs.I still don't have them alll cut out and the edges and details added but time will tell,they need to be finished by Oct20th.
